Example of single dental implant
Missing teeth can be replaced with dentures, bridges or implants. Dental implants are now recognised as the first line of treatment for single missing teeth as they do not involve damaging or relying on neighboring teeth. The single dental implant solution looks and functions like a natural tooth.
Case Study - Single Dental Implant
Unfortunately, this young gentleman hit and lost his front tooth after diving and hitting the bottom of a swimming pool while on holidays. There was nothing his dentist could do for him so came to see Liam for advice.
The tooth had been completely lost and was agreed to replace the front tooth with an implant supported crown. A single dental implant was placed and bone damage was repaired with bone grafting before a single crown was connected to the implant. No other teeth were involved or damaged during the treatment.
